The Williamsburg Inn is pleased to present the Rockefeller Room, the crown jewel of Abby and John D. Rockefeller Jr.’s home away from home. The featured menu is a five-course prix-fixe menu with available wine pairings from the Inn’s world class cellar. We are delighted to offer the finest and most luxurious ingredients from local watermen, farmers, and worldly artisans.

The Rockefeller’s revered opulence, therefore, we developed our menu to offer an evening filled with extravagance. Familiar flavors paired with southern hospitality reflect the soul of our story, history, and the melting pot of ingredients brought to our country from its inception.

Before we begin, we may be limited in our ability to modify our menu, especially for severe allium and dairy allergies. However, with advance notice, we will be happy to accommodate any allergy with customized menu adjustments.

This menu will take you on a seafood-laden tale of fabulous and enticing seafood-forward dishes. The great Feast of Seven Fishes puts forth a barrage of beverage pairings from cocktails to mocktails, wines, and more. This experience is for guests 21 years old and above and is unsuitable for children. Dinner begins at 6:00 pm. I loved my meal. I ordered the 5 course menu, and it was phenomenal. The only critique would be that the broths poured over my halibut and maitake mushroom dishes were lukewarm and not hot. However the flavors were awesome in every dish. Kudos to the chef and waitstaff!

Attentive and knowledgeable staff, food perfectly proportioned and excellent, and the ambience was suited for the dining experience. Only complaint was my wife's duck was overcooked.

The service was excellent, but I was unimpressed how the server pointed at my food when she told me what it was. Karen should have had a better composure and just explain what the food was. The dessert tray was really great. The duck unfortunately seemed a little hard on the outside for my liking and the green shell actually cut the inside of my roof of my mouth. I was very surprised. Usually the outside is tender. I enjoyed the golden rice with the quail egg.

Amazing experience! Karen assisted us with any confusion we had on the menu, and when something was wrong with the meal she was able to correct it ASAP.

Karen (our server) was extremely knowledgeable about the food, and wine. We were able to learn new things about wine. Cannot wait to return for another wonderful visit !!!

Love Col W'burg but for some reason this dining experience did not suit me. Though we did not stay at the hotel we had trouble finding a fair and free parking spot. I dont think valet was visible. Anyway, the lobby and INN looked lovely. We were greeted well. Neat bar to the left. Dining room to the right. We were seated but I think we were a little underdressed and uncomfortable. A runner filled our water glasses but I dont think our waiter arrived until 5-10 mins later. We almost felt forgotten as a few other waiters were seen serving their tables. Anyway, Ryan finally came around. He was apolgetic and professional. Well spoken. But I am not sure we completely understood the menu. I goofed my order and he looked at me like I was nuts. The whole evening felt a little off. We wanted to watch some of the fireworks but we missed 1/2 of it. Nevertheless, the food was small but very very good. The beverages were excellent complements to our meal. I doubt we will be back but glad we gave it a try.

We had high hopes for this restaurant as it had great reviews. My husband got the oysters and scallops with the braised short rib as his main course. I had the mushrooms and braised short ribs for my prime course with dessert. All of the dishes were bland or average.But the real disappointment was the service. We received our first two courses within 30 minutes and it took over an hour for the prime course to arrive. Another 20 minutes to get bill. Our server was mia the entire time we waited on our third course so we had no drink service and there were no apologies given at end of meal. In fact when i mentioned if the over 2 hour long service was the usual here he commented that this wasn’t Applebees which further turned me off of this place forever. Its not like we are unfamiliar with fine dining. Very disappointed in what is supposed to be their flagship restaurant at a five star hotel.
