Our menu moves from prix-fixe to an à la carte concept, allowing guests to savor an array of exquisite dishes crafted from the world’s finest ingredients. From prime, signature steaks to the freshest, locally sourced seafood, each dish is a masterpiece, designed to reflect a commitment to luxury, quality, and culinary artistry.

Before we begin, we may be limited in our ability to modify our menu, especially for severe allium and dairy allergies. However, with advance notice, we will be happy to accommodate any allergy with customized menu adjustments.

This menu will take you on a seafood-laden tale of fabulous and enticing seafood-forward dishes. The great Feast of Seven Fishes puts forth a barrage of beverage pairings from cocktails to mocktails, wines, and more. This experience is for guests 21 years old and above and is unsuitable for children. Dinner begins at 6:00 pm. The Rockefeller Room, which replaced the Regency Room as the premier dining venue in the Williamsburg Inn has seen few changes over the past decade. But, last night’s experience was perhaps the biggest and strangest change. The entrance to the restaurant has been moved to a side door away from the entrance to the Restoration Lounge and Terrace Room restaurant. The piano has been moved to RIGHT BEHIND our table. This position is also where the music system is located when not being entertained by a human you’re ears are being assaulted by recorded VERY LOUD sounds. Thankfully it didn’t take long before a staff member could figure out how to lower the volume. These changes in the floor plan were not well thought out. Whenever our server stood at our table he was CONSTANTLY being bumped into from other servers passing through. This might explain why he dropped the FIRST bottle of fine champagne which lost most of its contents onto my wife’s pants and shoe! Attempts were made to clean up the spillage but since the misses didn’t want to exasperate the matter by blocking the ONLY WALKWAY to the kitchen we went back to trying to enjoy ourselves. NOTHING WAS DONE BY MANAGEMENT TO “make the matter right”. Now to the food. The new menu is styled after a steakhouse menu (ala Ruth’s Chris). And from someone who has been dining at the Inn for 3+ decades it was a welcome change (as opposed to some other changes). This meant “ala carte”. And I suspect many of you are savvy enough that you’re thinking: just another way to charge more, but if you chose to eat here then you know what to expect. The Grilled Octopus was prepared sufficiently different from most other restaurants we’ve enjoyed it at to have us surprised. There wasn’t the overwhelming charcoal flavor and it was remarkably tender. The toppings for my Oysters Rockefeller were delicate and crispy while the local oysters were soft, and sweet and not overpowered by the toppings. The remaining 21 characters are not

Food was barely edible halibut and cache Pepe was not even recognizable yet barely edible Child’s steak was $45 which is a disgraceful price for a child’s meal. Vey little friendly choices for kids Love the Williamsburg inn. Very upscale good value for the money but this restaurant does not have the same standards. Reservation was 6:30. Never got entries til 8 pm. Very long evening with 2 children Atmosphere was lovely

Beyond Outstanding! The new menu is a hit, and ala carte. The chef is to be commended on the selection, preparation, and quality. My wife and I have always wanted to eat in the Rockefeller Room and it surely did not disappoint. The service was impeccable and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We will be back again!

Loved the live music. Service was abysmal. Dinner took 3+ hours. Food was just OK for the price.

An excellent dining experience - our table had the 5 course option and no one was disappointed. Staff were attentive and we enjoyed the live music and overall ambiance.

My husband and I had an amazing Anniversary dinner at The Rockefeller Room. Every course was delicious and perfectly paired with the Chef's wine selections. Our server, Ryan, was very attentive and friendly. While it was very pricey, it was a dining experience that we will forever remember. We can't wait to come back next year!

One word, EXCELLENT! Everything was spot on and exceeded all expectations. Sharon, our server was magnificent. The entire staff was awesome! Great job to everyone!!!

Unbelievable. 20 minutes after being seated - no water brought to table, Restaurant had less than 8 tables!occupied. No bread service offered. Never asked if we wanted a drink. Left restaurant after 30 minutes and let management know - have no idea what has happened to this place? It use to be fabulous.

We were celebrating our 49th anniversary with friends . The service and attention given to us was the best experience in dining we have ever had. Our waitress , Sharon, was so attentive and fun. The meal was out standing. The oysters were the best my friend and husband had ever had. The entrees were incredible. Each plate was a work of art as well as dessert plate had a touch of elegance with Happy Anniversy signed in chocolate. This was on my bucket list since I was 13. You won’t be disappointed! We came from Calif. to enjoy this historic Inn. The live music was outstanding!!

The ombiance was wonderful, service was great. Food was very good however very small portions for the cost. We ordered three appetizers. The scallops or should I say scallop. Very nice presentation however we received 1 scallop and 1 cornbread. For that price I would expect at least more than one. We also ordered the oyster appertizer. They were pieces of oysters and fried. Not what I expected. The grilled octopus was very good. Entrees were very good and we did the upgrade. We also did the wine parings. Three 3oz pours. They changed out one of the pairings to an inferior wine to what was scheduled. My wife and I were looking forward to enjoying the experience since we had not dined there before. In my opinion it was overpriced. Be cautious of the upogrades and pairings. Once was enough.
