    I'm not sure what happened during our visit (30th June) but the service was abysmal. Over an hour between courses, absolutley no recognition of the bad wait times, an issue taking order which meant incorrect food came out and then to top it off, being kicked out because "the table was needed" when there were at least 7 other tables available. The food was good (though the mains were cold) and looking around, I saw multiple other tables waiting for a very long time for service. Really dissapointing because we usually love going for a roast here but the service was a massive let down yesterday and topping it all off being asked to leave when the only reason we had been there for over 3 hours is due to waiting on food left an unfortunately sour taste in our mouth.

    Another outstanding Sunday lunch, slightly longer wait than usual but well worth it. The Lemon Roulade was incredible. Staff fabulous.

    First class service with staff who were friendly and chatty with a smile! The food was perfect as requested and served with impeccable timing. The mood was great with the added bonus of a very talented pianist/singer entertaining while we were there. Highly recommended

    Lovely, tasty Sunday lunch, good meat portion, lots of veg, we always enjoy having food here. Love the new outdoor space for drinks and chat too!

    Everything was very good as usual. We did query the description of the chocolate brownie as it stated it was gluten free, however it was served with a Biscoff topping which is not gf, need to be more careful when describing if a gf item is completely gf free

    I cannot keep away from this place, I've tried most of the menu & its all delicious. the sriracha chicken is my favourite. the pub and grounds are very clean and tidy, The Staff are all very friendly and helpful. the quality and value of the food is outstanding.

    We booked the restaurant for a small birthday get together. The service was excellent at the bar and at the table. All members of staff were extremely helpful and polite. The food arrived promptly and the meal sizes were perfect. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend.
