   Delicious food and wine. Lovely cosy atmosphere on a chilly evening. We will return.

   We found this visit disappointing. Our table was made available in the small restaurant area, heated by a roaring fire. After that our experience went downhill. After ordering drinks, I had to go back to the bar after 25-30 minutes to ask to order. It took a surprisingly long time to have our food choices served, our starters and mains. The Rock &. Fountain has recently been refurbished but the food quality seems to have suffered. Mark Duthie, the owner, wasnt there, and I didn't have the nous to complain to the newly appointed manager. We won't go again.

   Staff very polite with a prompt service. Food was very tasty and great value. Good choice of food on offer with additional specials. Thank you very much, we will return and recommend.

   Our server Zak was amazing, although he was friends with my daughter he was very polite and helpful looked after us very well, we will be paying a visit again very soon

   We had steak and my daughter is a bit fussy with steak but all agreed it was cooked to perfection we go here regularly and that speaks for itself if it wasn’t perfect every time we would go elsewhere. Keep doing what you’re doing and we’ll keep coming.

    Sunday Lunch. An absolute delight. Food hot and presented nicely. Service quick and friendly. Desserts to due for! Thoroughly recommend and reasonably priced.
