Food was good, But wait of the food is bad. It took an hour to get our food.

im very sorry you had a wait we had a couple of large groups in but even then it wasnt quite an hour wait. i hope you give us another try soon show we can show the wait isnt usually a long one

We had Sunday dinner, a duo of meats, veg, potatoes mash and roast, Yorkshire pudding and own gravy jug. Lovely. Great value. Would have liked dessert but we were too full.

When we arrived there was a buzz about the place. We had booked a table for 10 people, to watch the ruby. We had a wonderful view to watch the game. The bar staff were friendly and very helpful. It was very busy but they had a smile on their faces the whole time. Some of the group ordered food and all of them said it was very nice and would eat there again. I did not eat myself, but I would say I would definitely feel it was a place I could go to with my girlfriends, and feel very comfortable and safe.

The food and service was good when we got there but a funeral party came in and there was still only one person behind the bar. This meant we had to wait a long time to get served at the bar again. This unfortunately let it down as they knew they were coming and should have provided for this.

We are locals to this pub and we went in a couple of times before the now management arrived, it was empty, food either below average or non existent. Now it is what a proper pub should be, full of families, fantastic traditional food, clean, inviting and has a great vibe. Sunday roast is particularly good and their shepherds pie is so delicious. Great friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. This is definitely OUR local.

Booked for 2pm Not greeted. Table not laid correctly, no condiments. Waited over an hour for starters. No indication we’re given to us that there was serious issues in the kitchen. Mains eventually arrived at 4.20pm after we notified the staff that one of our party was diabetic. The food was overcooked but cold. Turkey was missing from one of our meals. We complained about the food & was then informed the chef had left the building!!! The food was so bad we decided not to stay for dessert. By then we had been there over 3 hours. We would credit the young man serving but the management team were absolutely disgraceful. No apologies given. The manageress spent the whole time scrolling on her mobile phone. She informed us that she was unable to refund our £75 deposit & in addition we had to pay for our drinks. It was an unforgettable & unforgivable experience, unfortunately for all the wrong reasons. The WORST Christmas meal EVER!! The advertising that your company, OpenTable, gave us was totally misleading. If this is an example of the types of establishments that you support we will certainly NEVER use your company ever again & will be advising our family & friends NEVER to use OpenTable. Between yourselves & the Robin Hood you completely ruined our Christmas.
