At The River Shack we are not interested in fuss or formalities, we simply want to provide you with delicious food and drink in a relaxed and beautiful setting.

You can dine right by the waters edge on sunny days, shelter in our waterside marquee on rainy ones, or relax by our log burner inside on the cooler days.

The views in themselves are worth the trip, but wait until you try the food! Our menus are creative, seasonal, rustic and delicious.

Along with the rest of our fantastic team, we look forward to meeting you down at the creek!

    Lovely setting for a casually seated meal (bench seats etc) and a small but delicious menu. Burgers were slightly too salty for all of us this time but other mains were fab. Loads of fries and great portion sizes on mains.

    Service was very very slow. Pizzas not cooked long enough and had to wait 20 minutes for our bill.

    It's a great place to eat, with excellent staff. The location has breathtaking views, and we liked it so much that we came back the next day. Although it's not a comprehensive menu, that's a plus because everything is so fresh. When it's gone, it's gone! We look forward to returning and thank the staff for being so helpful in accommodating our two very large dogs!

    Amazing views, great food choices. We were a party of 8, 4 kids, 2 hungry husbands and 2 healthier eating mums, all of us catered for brilliantly. Really helpful staff within the restaurant and great for providing advice about the external environment for paddleboarding and crabbing. We’ve been before and we will be back again soon.

    Had a lovely brunch sat outside enjoying the sunshine and the view. Food was great, service was great and lovely to see so many people having a great time on the water.

    Staying on a touring Caravan site near by. Had been there previously so knew what to expect. Unfortunately we live some 200 miles away or we would eat here on a regular basis.
