Floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the Forks of the Thames. A modern and contemporary restaurant offering an aspirational dining experience while still maintaining its casual feel. All food is made to order from scratch in house so any food allergies, issues can usually be accommodated.

Please note, we are only accessible Thursday lunch, Friday lunch and Sunday brunch as well as Thursday night until 8pm. We are not accessible evenings after 5pm. Our evening entrance is on the south side. Please use the stairs to the second level. Accessible daytime entrance is through Museum London.

Please note: we cannot guarantee a window table request as almost every reservation requests a window table request and we only have so many window tables. We will try our best to give you the best seat available & we hope you enjoy your visit at the River Room.

    Celebrated my bday with my girls here. Has to be the best restaurant in the city. Everything was perfect!

    I was very disappointed that the butternut squash pasta was not on the restaurant menu but was on the on line menu. I had the Mahi, Mahi and while the fish was excellent I was unable to eat the carrot. I couldn't even cut it with my knife so that only left rice & fish. The rice was good but less of that and another eatable veggie would have been much more agreeable. It was my sister's birthday and we told the waiter but nothing was offered to her except far too expensive desserts. I believe some improvements could be made. Also, I understand you would use paper over the white table cloth to prevent having to do more laundry but my water glass condensation caused my glass to stick to the paper and I had to hold the paper down to pick up my glass.

    Did not like the appetiser menu, also thought there should have been a bread basket with the entree.

    The room is very pleasant, with a really good view. The service was without fault. My only criticism bears on the chicken bites in gochujang sauce that my guest and I shared as a first course: the chicken was hard and dry. Everything else was just fine.

    The location is outstanding and the food was excellent when it arrived but the kitchen was overwhelmed for some reason and it was an hour before we were served and there was nothing on the table to nibble on. This spoiled an otherwise lovely dinner out.

    Delicious lunch overlooking the river. We enjoyed the vegan burgers and delightful Limoncello tiramisu. Great friendly service. You should give it a try!

    The restaurant has a beautiful view and the staff was welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed our meal but overall the food quite good but not outstanding. We would go back. Perhaps we just ordered the wrong things.

    We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the River Room to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The service was excellent, as was the food. The room itself sets a very nice ambiance and the view can’t be beaten!
