Ribaut Social Club is a restaurant and social space for Beaufort locals and visitors to mingle over cocktails and impeccable regional cuisine.
Our aim is to capture the incorrigible spirit and convivial atmosphere of the original Ribaut Club, established at the Anchorage in 1891. In its heyday, the Club hosted performances, grand parties, dances and even gambling—a raucous getaway from buttoned-up social strictures of the time. Today, guests can cocktails and dinner with unrivaled water views or a sophisticated brunch surrounded by 300 years of Beaufort history.

The flavor of food simply comes from freshness, quality and preparation. There is nothing fresher or tastier than local farm sourced ingredients. That is why we partner with local farms and our farm partners take pride in growing quality food that is bursting with flavor. Come experience locally sourced food paired with one of Napa Valley's premier vineyards that specializes in their own locally sourced ingredients. Long Meadow Ranch, a Hall Family Vineyard, uses organic farming to create sustainable offerings. The vineyards, over 150 planted acres in Napa and Anderson Valleys, are farmed using organic practices. Seating at 5:00pm. Call for reservations greater than 4 people.

A wonderful experience. The food was delicious with great flavor and presentation. The new Chef is GREAT. The service was professional with lots of charm. We will be back soon.

Once again, a beautiful evening at Ribaut Social Club. This time I was being gifted a get-away weekend from my daughter who stayed at our home to take care of my husband. A good friend joined me to dine on the front porch, a favorite spot, and, as always, our cocktails, food, wine and servers were the best. I always feel pampered when I dine at this lovely Beaufort restaurant.

The Ribaut Social Club was the perfect place to celebrate our 39th anniversary. Chef Robert prepared a delicious meal. My husband and I shared the tomato and burrata appetizer and a healthy yet tasty salad with apples and field greens and other goodies. For entrees, I had the chicken Marsala and my husband had the pork chop which was the most tender pork chop he’s ever tasted. Both entrees were perfectly seasoned. For dessert we had a vanilla crème custard with fresh berries. Sarah provided excellent service, and the bar tender made a delicious mocktail for my husband and apparently specializes in this which makes it nice for those who prefer a non-alcoholic beverage. The setting is fantastic! We sat outside on the porch where we could see the sun setting over the bay. We highly recommend going to this unique restaurant in the historic Anchorage Inn.

Went with family and friends to Ribaut Social Club and it was outstanding. Dining on the covered porch was great despite a little noise from traffic. Food was marvelous and service was terrific. Highly recommend for a special evening.

After reading bad reviews about the new chef, we decided on Sunday brunch instead of dinner, because it seemed impossible to screw up eggs?!? We have loved this restaurant for four years - for any special occasion, out of town company or if we were feeling indulgent. I was embarrassed for our guests and beyond disappointed with the food and service. My eggs Benedict came as hard as two hard boiled eggs, another plate of eggs were overly salty - everyone had rubber grits - hard, cold and dry. You could stand a fork in them. The menu had half the offerings the old chef had on offer - nothing innovative or fresh. We sorely missed Isabel, the quietly competent waitress who would have seated us right away, not left us in the foyer for 15 minutes. I’m giving 2 stars for the view, and I can get that without spending $100+ tip. I sure hope management reads their recent reviews and reconsiders the chef and staff and a fresh start.

Looked online at the menu and when we arrived it was a completely different offering so that set us up for some disappointment in what we wanted to eat.

My husband and I came here for dinner on our weekend away after our wedding and ordered the filet mignon. It was absolutely delicious! The new chef did such a great job. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. Would definitely recommend! Can’t wait to come back!
