Ribaut Social Club is a restaurant and social space for Beaufort locals and visitors to mingle over cocktails and impeccable regional cuisine.
Our aim is to capture the incorrigible spirit and convivial atmosphere of the original Ribaut Club, established at the Anchorage in 1891. In its heyday, the Club hosted performances, grand parties, dances and even gambling—a raucous getaway from buttoned-up social strictures of the time. Today, guests can cocktails and dinner with unrivaled water views or a sophisticated brunch surrounded by 300 years of Beaufort history.

This was our first time and the building is lovely. Service was outstanding as was the food. We loved that the menu changes all the time based on what is available locally and fresh.

Being a self-proclaimed "foodie" I have eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world and can honestly say that our experience of the Ribault Social Club at the Anchorage 1770 ranks among the best. I am almost apologetic for not having discovered it sooner for visiting guests and family. The quality of the food, the attention to detail, the flavors, the presentation, all, were superb. It left such a lasting impression that we immediately booked a dinner reservation for the following weekend. Honestly, can't wait.

We love eating here! The food is always amazing. We’ve sat outside every time and the view is so beautiful. The service is excellent! We will definitely be back again.

We went here to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. A week before, we requested Beef Wellington. The chef did not put it on the menu, but made it especially for us! We also delivered a 16-year-old bottle of Opus One that afternoon - it was decanted and waiting for us at our table. The whole experience was fabulous. I don’t know another local establishment that would willingly provide that level of service.

We were disappointed with the food. The lamb was very good but salty. The hog fish was over cooked and salty. Felt it was a bit pricey. The atmosphere was friendly and pleasant We are glad we went there

The Ribaut Social club is awesome. The ambiance of the house, the excellent service and the outstanding meals make it a very special place. Be sure and go there hungry because the portions are large. A must do when you are in Beaufort.

The Best Restaurant in Beaufort County -Low Country. The food is outstanding - the chef is inspired - fresh ingredients, well prepared and yet simple dishes, beautiful presentation and amazing ambience and service. There is no other restaurant that hits all the high notes like this one. An amazing experience every time we go.
