A former 14th century drovers' inn, The Rhydspence Inn offers you fresh seasonal food, fine wines, local ales and exceptional accommodation.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our food which uses locally sourced produce wherever possible.
The Menu is short and changes regularly. We always offer vegetarian options.

Remarkably underwhelming for somewhere that’s been here a long time! We were one of two parties at a lunchtime on a Friday and yet the welcome was not warm nor was the service. No care or willingness to make you feel welcome either. Fundamentals totally overlooked or not considered important. Pity as we would always normally recommend places to people but as there are so many other places that are better this is a no go zone.

As we indicated with stars , perfect evening. Food was superb , staff wonderful will definitely be back.

The Rhydspence Inn is a beautiful old drovers inn with a lovely garden going down to a small stream. The whole experience was most pleasant, service, food and ambience excellent. We have known The Rhydspence through several owners and the present ones are delivering everything as it should be.

The food was delicious and well presented. Made to feel very welcome, nice warm ambiance. Will definitely be back.

Really tasty food, nice atmosphere and friendly, efficient service. The only criticisms would be the main course portion sizes were slightly small, and three of the four desserts contained chocolate, which is ok if that’s your thing but a bit frustrating if not.
