Welcome to The Rex Seaside Steakhouse.

A neighborhood steakhouse using seasonal and quality ingredients to bring flavor and hospitality to Redondo Beach. Join us in our dining room every night or our Drift Cocktail Lounge on Friday and Saturdays for a night to remember.

Intentionally sourced with an eye for quality, we offer USDA Prime, Miyazaki A5 Japanese Wagyu, and American Wagyu. All are steaks are cooked to perfection over our white oak fire.

Family-owned and operated, we strive to off a one-of-a-kind luxury experience with all the charm of a neighborhood restaurant.

The Rex is an amazing steak house. The food is excellent and so is the service. And you can’t beat the location, 2 blocks from the beach. Book a table, you won’t regret it.

Tonight was our first time dining at The Rex Steakhouse celebrating our anniversary. We loved it. Staff was professional and the food was excellent. We can't wait to return.

I have been coming here for a while and love this place. The food and ambiance are both amazing and the staff is extremely kind and accommodating. I highly recommend the porterhouse for big groups, especially when paired with one of the wines from their selection.

Though I had a reservation, I believed for the interior dining room we were seated in the patio section. I’m not sure they should even have tables out there. It is cold on the street, etc. However, we had delicious food and wonderful service by Aaron . The manager came over as he had heard we were disappointed about our tables seating. He kindly waved the corkage and that made it all OK. Food was delicious. Wouldn’t recommend the carrots but everything else was amazing. A perfect vodka gimlet was enjoyed.

The Rex is my go to move when I’m in the mood for great food and company, Chef Walter, Justin, Zac and my server Francisco has stopped by to say hello within 10 minutes of sitting down. If you’re in the South Bay near the Riviera Village, stop by The Rex, you will not be sorry.

Excellent as always - food, service and ambience all on point. Our server was attentive and delivered professional service throughout the night. Kyle was also excellent, stopping by to chat and keeping us comfortable. A true winner for RB Village.
