Located in the landmark Old Post Office building in the heart of City Square , The Restaurant Bar & Grill provides an impressive setting to enjoy brunch, lunch, dinner or a private party. We’re about classic and inspired seasonal cooking, amazing steaks and brilliant cocktails to match. at RBG we only serve the very best beef naturally reared on farms selected by us. We pride ourselves on the philosophy of ingredient provenance and are dedicated to ensuring that every time you visit us, you will have fantastic food and service. After a few years of great success with our terrace in Leeds Restaurant Bar & Grill, we decided you can never have too much of a good thing, so we just got a little bigger! It’s definitely the place to be during the warmer summer months.

    Would never return - Me and my partner both had steaks and my partner also had half a lobster steak topper, the steaks were dry , over cooked and not rested for long enough which meant our plates were covered in bloody steak juices, the lobster which cost £38 had barely any meat on and was too mushy. Overall felt we felt it is overpriced and walked away still feeling hungry. The dining space is too loud. One star for our waitress as she was lovely and also brought us a free sharing dessert as we was dining for an occasion.

    This place never fails to disappoint! A beautiful building, serving up delicious food. The service was spot on too. Slightly louder than usual due to the Euros quarter final - but a great atmosphere all around! Never had a bad experience here - would highly recommend!

    We work opposite and always book lunch meetings with clients with yourself. The last 3 times we have not had any food come through for over 1 hour meaning a 1 hour lunch meeting is 2 hours. I came Wednesday at 1pm and it was not too busy. I really enjoy the food but the service lets it down when wanting quick lunch meetings

    Lovely meal and lovely service today for 4 people having 4 Sundays dinners however the only downfall to the ending of our meal was that we was given two separate bills at the end as someone had closed our table meaning we was given two separate service charges! We did get these taken out however felt this was quite cheeky

    We had a fantastic meal and experience at the restaurant. I have been a couple of times before, but this was the largest party I have attended with and the service was still flawless. The food was exceptional as usual.

    If you want to have any kind of conversation with the person you're eating with, forget this place. We visited in January and it was EXTREMELY noisy, but we assumed it was because of the January offers making it far busier than usual. Visiting again last night, it was even worse. To the point where my partner and I barely spoke to one another, after soon getting tired of shouting over the music and thrum of other diners. I'm not sure what happened to this place during its recent refurb, but it's created an echo-chamber of noise that's incredibly oppressive. Even our waiter had trouble hearing our order - We had to confirm our choices several times just to be heard. It's a real shame because they cook one of the best fillet steaks in Leeds, but it's not worth the trade-off of the unpleasant atmosphere. After the last 2 visits, I'm afraid we won't be returning again..

    Having been regular visitors pre Covid this was our first visit for long time.. overall disappointed and won’t be returning.. the quality of the food was ok.. my wife previously had the chicken souvlaki which was fantastic. This time it was the chicken skewer.. the quality was ok but the portion size was embarrassing.. for £22.50 we excepted a bit more.. when the waiter repeatedly asked if she wanted any sides, we should have taken the hint.. it’s a shame as the place is amazing… we will now look for alternative venues.
