                                                                What a fabulous spacious unique restaurant, way in excess of what we expected. Our waitress, Vaishnavi, was so pleasant as were the rest of the staff. The restaurant is perfect if you are visiting the Palace Theatre which was just across the road. We will definitely come back again.

                                                                Roast chicken should say whole chicken it’s way to much food for one person 3 people could have ate my meal so to me it’s a waste of money and food … £28 for chicken lunch beware … order one portion for at least 2 people Potatoes had been sitting a while … over priced to much food for individuals portions … will be back again but will be careful what we order No starters necessary …

                                                                Really disappointing, table wasn’t great, when we asked to move it was declined, took 40 mins to get a drink, potions were very very small. Will continue to go to Volta, but this is the second trip to the Refuge which has been up to scratch, won’t bother in the future

                                                                Inventive and interesting cuisine in a cool setting. Loved the risotto, borani, croquettes and fried chicken. Excellent Chablis. Been before, and always enjoy the food and ambiance.
