It’s a shame as I had the meal booked in for such a long time and we knew we wanted to go for the show menu. When we arrived it took over 20 mins to get drink orders and felt like one waitress was deliberately ignoring us when trying to make eye contact. We were told to not order to show menu for 3 people cus of wastage, I think this needs to be communicated on the menu how many people it serves. Again no run up on how our food was and took ages for drinks to arrive, I had to pre-empt the bill as we had a show at the palace theatre which we made be the skin of our teeth. The expense wasn’t worth it for the over all service received. Disappointing to say the least

The waiting staff were very friendly but the reservation desk were rude - no niceties or recognition of who we were despite 10 minutes prior telling us to wait at the bar. When you pay a decent amount for a meal I feel that a basic level of customer service should be shown.

We arrived and the restaurant was quiet but had many staff wandering around. Some food came quickly, other plates we had a 30 min wait. Most of the food was cold, considering it’s such a big venue, the plates should always be warmed so food is warm when it arrives. Had to ask 2 times for our other food to come and then when it did, our additional portion of chips didn’t arrive and then that was a wait. Desserts were lovely and punctual. Other details missing like asking us if we would like more drinks or offering more table water. Funnily enough, paying for the food was quick. A shame as the staff were trying but think there is a real lack of training and considering the price and venue, you expect decent service.

It was a quiet lunch so enjoyable. Portions could be maybe 25/30% larger at little cost and provide increased satisfaction. Staff were a little disinterested and disingenuous.

The beef cheek was very dry, the triple cooked chips were definitely not triple cooked they were more like oven chips. The hummus was lumpy and the sauce with the squid was bland.

We arrived at 5.30pm for pre dinner cocktails and these were superb! The ambience in the restaurant was cozy and inviting, service was great and the selection of small plates we shared were delicious and good value. Great for meeting for drinks/food before theatre - highly recommended 👍

Lovely venue and atmosphere. The food was good, only down side was one of the items they didn’t have enough of but gave alternative. The service by Holly was outstanding. Took our order, got anything we needed promptly and food came on time
