For the prices, the food was not very good. The pasta wasnt cooked all the way, and generally lacked flavor.

This was truly a magical dining experience. Everything we had was simply fantastic. The staff was incredible, and friendly. We celebrated getting married here, we will be back for many many more experiences.

We decided to venture out for hubbys birthday!! Greeted by Hugo the bartender who was so gracious and it only got better from there!!! I would highly suggest 24 Carat at The Rabbit Hill Inn for an AMAZI G Dining experience !!

We live locally and went to the restaurant for our anniversary. We LOVE the new changes! We arrived early and enjoyed a drink at the bar. Hugo was wonderful and accommodating and best of all, makes a great drink! McKenna was our server and was so sweet and knowledgeable. The food was delicious (I had the chicken and my husband had the fish). Chef Michelle brought dessert to each table and spent a few moments with all the customers. We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful evening!

We celebrated our daughter’s birthday, a table of 5 adults. We enjoyed the charcuterie, creative, tasteful, and well presented. We enjoyed the rack of lamb, the chicken, the ravioli, and the halibut. All were prepared expertly and were delicious. The desserts were playful and beautifully served. The homemade ice creams were delightful. The ambiance was elegant, but in a relaxed inn type of way. We live locally, so will definitely return. Our guests were charmed!

The food here is not merely excellent; it is a work of genius—absolutely world class. The chef’s creations are as successful as they are inventive. The local waitstaff are friendly and willing but clearly haven’t been taught the art of fine dining. But for the sake of the cuisine, we will forgive this as well as the absent bartender and broken cappuccino machine.

The experience at 24 Carrot was not good with the exception of the food. We arrived for our reservation at noticed there was only one server and the restaurant which was full. We were seated by Katie, who usually works in the office but was helping out because they were under staffed. Once we sat down we waited 5 minutes before we were offered water. We were then told that 3 of the 11 items on the menu were not available. This is a small restaurant but to not have 25% of the menu available is unacceptable. They knew they were sold out for the evening because we were staying at the Inn and tried to get an earlier reservation that day. We ordered the Casear salads which were very good, although not worth $18. My husband had the filet which was nice and I had the Burrata ravioli and it was delicious. The other situation that occurred was that they had a limited bar menu. They were only serving 3 beers and 6 wine choices. We were unable to order a mixed drink because they had no bartender for the evening. Once again understaffed. Our waiter told us that usually they have one server for 12 tables that evening he had 30 tables. He was doing the best he could for what he was expected to do...serve drinks, take orders, serve meals and service each of the tables. He was in a no win situation. I believe this restaurant can be good because the chef prepares good food but until they get more staff, I would avoid it.

Meal was absolutely wonderful. Great service from Erica and wonderful to chat with Michelle. We will definitely be coming back in the future. We were there 2.5 hours which was a bit long as we had work the next day. But we were certainly not pressured to leave.

The inn is lovely but the real story is the culinary experience. The restaurant in this historic inn is what really elevates it to a world class destination. If you want to experience New England and have the best dining experience imaginable, don’t miss “24 CARROT” at the Rabbit Hill Inn. The quality of the food will far exceed your expectations. As someone who has traveled to some of the best restaurants in the world, I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Michelle Gomez for creating such a memorable dining experience.
