We celebrated a special occasion last night with the six course wine pairing. The menu was set by the chef and it was out of this world. They accommodated our dietary restrictions beautifully and communicated with us ahead of time about that. Our server Ernest was very knowledgeable and attentive through the evening. A most wonderful evening was had, well worth the expense.

fresh farm to table creations very enjoyable. Fresh ontario lamb was outstanding. cozy venue, room surrounded by wine cellar. staff welcoming, attentive service without being too in your face.

Excellent food and service. They were in the process of having their roof replaced so a bit noisy but not a big deal

A wonderful experience. The Sourdough bread should not be missed. Perfectly prepared, unpretentious food with fresh ingredients. Well curated wine list including local producers.

I recently dined at the restaurant at Merrill House and had an exceptional experience. The food was outstanding—each dish was expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. The highlight, however, was the ambiance in the wine cellar; it provided a cozy and intimate setting, perfect for a romantic dinner for two. The combination of exquisite cuisine and a charming atmosphere made for a memorable evening. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return!

The Waring is one of my favourite restaurants in Prince Edward County. Chef Michael Sullivan is incredible. Every bite is delicious and the presentation is gorgeous. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and lovely. It can be a bit pricey but it is worth it!

Wonderful late summer dinner at Merrill House. Food was spectacular, quite possibly the best beef tenderloin I have ever had, excellent accompanying items and all beautifully presented. Fresh greens and fruit from local producers added so much flavour and desserts were next level… Service was perhaps a bit rushed but pleasant. Great ambiance and sound level was just right. Definitely worth a return visit!

On our recent trip to PEC we booked Merrill House for dinner. We arrived early for our reservation and were seated immediately and given drink menus (even before the first dinner seating). The food, drinks and service were amazing! We will definitely return.
