Faultless Valentines meal, food was superb, service was exceptionally friendly and professional, big shout out to the lass at the bar. Her cocktails were divine and she was flat out all evening but incredibly in control and friendly. The rose petals on the table and complimentary prosecco just made the whole experience that little bit special. Well done team Charlton House!

I booked the table for a suprise 30th, we have been before. We arrived and the path to reception was being cleaned and blasted so had to walk through the soap and the waterfall of water coming down from the steps. Greeting from reception was fine, I popped to the toliet and there was no toliet paper, the receptonist was busy so I told the lady in the bar she told me to go back to reception to tell them ( their was only 2 tables in the restaurant at this time, one was ours ) I didn't bother as it's not my job to run around finding someone to stock up there toliets !!!! My friend went and told reception and they just said use the disabled. Really feel as though it's lost its way. Nice quiet environment but for £25 a head the afternoon tea was nothing fancy.

Lovely venue. Great staff especially Beni the restaurant manager. Excellent menu. Choice included excellent options for vegetarians and fish and meat lovers alike. Beautifully presented, flavourful, freshly prepared food which was very enjoyable. Would recommend.
