Here at The Refuge, we take pride in pleasing the palates of locals and tourists alike. Our experienced staff stands behind the recipes on our menu, and use only the freshest ingredients to ensure an unforgettable dining experience.     Shorthanded, making long wait times for drinks and food. Food quality was mid. On vacation so this was our first time trying. Would not go back for dinner.

    The food was great. The service was great by our server Danice. Also enjoyed the atmosphere. Just one comment. They added a charge of 2% to the bill for using a credit card. Almost no restaurant does that. I would guess that over 95% of their customers use credit cards. It would be better just to increase prices by 2% rather than hitting customers with an annoying charge like this.

    Brunch during a holiday is always a challenge but the limited staff did a great job of staying connected and energetic. The meal was very good. The pancakes and waffles were tasty especially with the candied pecans and maple syrup.

    We love Refuge. The food was excellent but our service was definitely not as good as we are used to. Our server Jeremy was super personable, I just think the restaurant was really understaffed due to the holiday.

    The food was excellent!! I had the nights special! Ate there twice on vacation. They had a band which was very loud making it hard to hear the party I was with. I'll definitely go back but hope they will not have the music

    Food was delicious! This gem is hidden in a strip center with Harris Teeter. It was prime rib night and the guys thought it was fabulous. Scallops and the shrimp and grits were also enjoyed. Children’s menu was very appropriate.
