    I would rate the Refinery as the top restaurant in the Northeast PA area. The food was amazing. The indoor and outdoor space is top notch. The glass around the kitchen so that you can see the chef cooking was something you would only see in a big city restaurant. Get your reservation booked in advance because the demand is high.

    Possibly the best meal we’ve ever had dining out. The hummus and Kristen’s Fresh Focaccia were to die for. The eggplant parm was delicious and all the desserts were on point. Very impressed!

    I can confidently say this is now my number one spot in the area—this restaurant has undeniably raised the bar for dining. I’m already looking forward to future visits. The drinks were skillfully executed. The Tuna appetizer was one of the most creative and well-balanced dishes I’ve ever experienced. The combination of crunchy apples with fresh, tender fish provided a delightful contrast in texture. The Artichoke Pizza crust was packed with flavor, delivering an essence that I will never forget. There is no doubt that the chef behind these creations is a master of their craft. The pork belly, paired with sweet glaze and crispy kale, was flawlessly executed—each bite brought together textures that paved the way for the robust flavors of the dish. Beyond the food, the atmosphere sets the perfect tone. Refined but not pretentious, the space has character around every corner. This restaurant offers not only a culinary experience that lifts your palate but also a setting that makes you want to linger and enjoy every moment.

    Everything was outstanding! To start I had a Bartlett pear cocktail, which was very cute and super delicious. We ordered two appetizers, including the focaccia and the stuffed squid. The two paired so well together because there’s a delicious vinaigrette that comes with the squid and focaccia was perfect to soak up all that goodness. The focaccia itself was like nothing else I’ve ever tasted…so light so fluffy. Caesar salad was great. The pork belly entrée was so original and melting your mouth delicious. my husband had the braised short rib, which was also melting in your mouth and very good. Their house made gelato was the perfect ending to a great meal. The service was fantastic also! Very attentive and made you feel like a valued guest. Very cool inside the outdoor space looked very welcoming as well. I will 100% coming back here because there’s so much more that I want to try on their menu.

    Ambiance was great. Service outstanding. Pasta was delicious! Dessert was quite tasty! Would definitely recommend.

    From the table to the server, everything was perfect. You can tell the pasta was homemade and drinks were made with perfection. Our server eddie was excellent, knew exactly what to recommend. Can’t wait to revisit!
