The Refectory is a stunning New American restaurant located on Lancaster Avenue in Villanova. The menu features modern and upscale interpretations of American comfort classics such as homemade pastas, wood-fired flatbreads, a raw bar, craft cocktails and specialty homemade desserts. Our kitchen's philosophy is to keep it simple and straightforward, with a lot of thought and technique put behind each dish and ingredient.

The Refectory is open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. We validate parking in the I-1 garage across the street. For parties of 9 or more guests, please contact the restaurant directly by calling (610) 519-5786 or by emailing info@refectorynova.com. Please call or email with any questions and we will return your message.

PARKING GARAGE INFORMATION: Parking is only available across the street from The Refectory at the Villanova I-1 Parking Garage located on South Ithan Avenue. There are no timing restrictions for vehicles parked at the I-1 Parking Garage for guests dining at The Refectory. The rates are as follows: the 1st hour is free, two hours is $2, and up to four hours is $5. Currently, we do not validate parking. Upon entry, pull a ticket and park on any of the first 3 floors. A pay machine accepting cash and credit is located by the Main Pedestrian Entrance/Exit on Floor 2. The exit lanes only accept credit cards and do not accept cash. To get to the Refectory from the Parking Garage from Floor 2, use the pedestrian walkway across Ithan Avenue. The Refectory is located in The Commons, the stone mixed-use residential and commercial building on the corner of Ithan & Lancaster Avenue. Look for restaurant signage and call us at 610-519-5786 if you have any issues

The food is excellent but my husband's Mahi Mahi came completely uncooked. He had to return it for them to cook it. Also the main dishes portions are tiny!!!! My salmon was half the size the usual portion. I was kind of shocked. Talking about shrinkflation.... Otherwise the food is very tasty and the service was great

Chipped plates, shredded and peeling booth seats, loose table leg plate that made a bunch of noise every time your foot touched it took away from overall experience. Main courses were tasty and we enjoyed (rabbit, burger, mushroom flatbread). Calamari was tough and fishy-smelling; bread basket and Philly cheese-steak rolls were good! Only dessert we enjoyed was the ricotta donuts; rice pudding so bland and sticky toffee pudding sauce super grainy. Service was very good. Would we go back? Nah.

I have gone to Refectory many times and they never disappoint, and this time was no different! All our food was great and on time and our waitress was wonderful!! We had the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, Master Class Burger & the Spaghetti with Meatballs.

Went here for lunch and it took over 90 minutes to get two mahi tacos and three sliders. Wasn’t super busy and several people arrived after us and were served food before us. Wouldn’t visit here again.

I had a delicious lunch at The Refectory. The Brussels sprouts were so flavorful. The Turkey sandwich was delicious. The ricotta donuts were a perfect ending. I shared the sprouts and the donuts with my lunch partner. Our server was Daniel. He was OUTSTANDING! He was friendly, attentive, knew the menu inside and out and had great suggestions. 5 stars to Daniel!

Our dinner was outstanding. The new fall menu was terrific, the yellow fish tuna was AMAZING. Our waiter Tim was friendly, helpful, and provided terrific service!

Always an amazing meal with impeccable service. Very lively and fun atmosphere. Love the Buffalo cauliflower and the Nova fries. The sticky toffee pudding dessert is also delicious!
