Welcome to The Red Oak Restaurant, we are available for dine-in and patio seating as well as curbside pickup. If you would like to order for pickup please call 262-857-8588.

We specialize in carefully prepared local and seasonal cuisine served in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Firmly rooted in southeastern Wisconsin, The Red Oak celebrates the richness of the area by crafting dishes and drinks from locally grown produce, humanely raised animals, and locally produced artisanal cheeses, beers and spirits.

We were celebrating my son's birthday and was underwhelmed by the food and drinks. Staff were courteous and friendly. Drinks were so overpriced and the craft cocktails were sugary and watered down. We had the sliders w/fries, grilled cheese with veggie soup of the day (so thick it was more like a sauce) and drinks. Our tab came to $120 total, so overpriced for the quality of the food and drinks.

We started with creamy mushroom vegetable soup and roasted Brussels sprouts which were excellent. Our entrees of cedar plank salmon, filet, bison meatloaf, and butternut squash vegan option were delicious!

It’s been awhile since we had visited Red Oak and we had a delightful return to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We each had a cocktail - the Red Oak Paloma for me and the Kinnickinnic Sour for Spouse. Both were delicious and refreshing. I had the Roasted Chicken with Pumpkin Puree & Risotto, and Spouse had the Butternut Squash with Quinoa Stuffing. Both were delicious and well prepared. We will look forward to returning more often.

It was so loud! We couldn’t hear each other talk or hear our waitress. We were never asked (at least I don’t think she asked) if we wanted any drinks. Our appetizer was served without plates and we had to wait 10 minutes before my daughter went up and got them for our table. My chicken was dry and my husband’s fish tasted old. Appetizer (burrata) was overpriced for what we received, without any bread. Taking this out of our rotation. Such a shame…

They were wonderful with our kids and brought out games to keep them occupied. The food and drinks were delicious. Super cute too!

Our party of four sat on the patio and had a very nice dinner, as we hadn't seen each other in two years. The food in general was excellent – three of us ordered the Friday Fish Fry (two deep-fried, one pan-fried) and the fish was cooked perfectly. A minor issue for me was that salad greens had been placed on my plate next to the fish, and the plate was placed under a heat lamp that made the plate hot and the greens somewhat wilted. The cubed potatoes underneath were seasoned well and very crisp. The service was good. Our server spoke in a very soft voice and seemed a bit distant, but she was attentive and professional.

The Red Oak is my families go to. The food is delicious, and the service top notch. And let's not forget the cocktails- they are SUPER yummy! I would love it if they could be open more hours. This is a must try restaurant.

We had a delicious meal. The broiled walleye was especially good. Katie, our server, was friendly and helpful. A lovely evening!
