Always enjoy our meals. It's value for money. Great menu catering for all. Always?a friendly atmosphere from all staff. What more could you want. The surroundings and gardens are beautiful in the Essex countryside. Well worth a visit!

Excellent service either a smile all very polite and wait times were perfect as was the food, already looking forward to going back, and you have to have the ginger and lemon dessert..perfect.

Food was wonderful, attentive waitresses , service quick and meals well cooked . Eton mess was too tidy but delicious (!) . Ale well kept . Thank you

We had an excellent meal. A starter and main. A cold starter that was presented so well. Two different mains. The fish pie was crammed with fish and piping hot. I had a hot chicken and bacon salad that was delicious. The service was excellent. We had no complaints at all. We will be making, I am sure, many more visits.
