Went for a meal for my wife’s 50th birthday,we were greeted with a friendly welcome,had very polite and friendly staff serving us,food was very good indeed and came without too much delay,overall our evening was very nice and will definitely go back and recommend this pub.

This is our local pub, we consider ourselves lucky that it is. Once again food was very tasty and served promptly.

The waitress’s were very polite and helpful. Service was prompt and the food was very good, although I thought the number of whitebait I had was a little stingy. Overall we were happy with the experience. Good pint of IPA.

My wife explained to the waiter she has had an operation for GERD and wanted to swap the French fries that came with the pie for chips instead, as she struggles to swallow French fries. The waiter checked with the chef who said swaps weren’t allowed as all items on the menu were matched to each other so she could not make the switch. Just unbelievably poor customer service so we won’t be back! It was also very expensive. £10.10 for a glass of white wine!
