The waitress’s were very polite and helpful. Service was prompt and the food was very good, although I thought the number of whitebait I had was a little stingy. Overall we were happy with the experience. Good pint of IPA.

My wife explained to the waiter she has had an operation for GERD and wanted to swap the French fries that came with the pie for chips instead, as she struggles to swallow French fries. The waiter checked with the chef who said swaps weren’t allowed as all items on the menu were matched to each other so she could not make the switch. Just unbelievably poor customer service so we won’t be back! It was also very expensive. £10.10 for a glass of white wine!

Every time we eat at the Red Lion the food is always excellent the choice on the menu is really good. Staff always go that extra mile to ensure you are totally satisfied with your meal and the service given. The ambience is perfect for a thatched roof village pub. It's dog friendly and the garden is beautiful to sit in on a warm day or evening. Great variety of spirits etc Well worth a visit when or if you come to Suffolk.

Decent Sunday lunch and beer. Would have preferred to be seated in the main bar rather than in the side room by the entrance but overall very good

Very nice staff and good food. Reasonable choice of main courses but rather limited desserts which were uninspiring and we didn’t bother.

Lovely Pub - great service, great choice of delicious food, great atmosphere. Lovely garden out the back, if you wanted to sit there and have a drink. Plenty of parking too. Delighted that we've found this place - will definitely be back.
