We had a lovely meal at the Red Lion! A lovely, friendly greeting even noting our event for booking and wishing my partner a Happy Birthday! Service was great and attentive and the food was delicious! Pub food, cooked really well and generous portions. We’d definitely recommend.

Always enjoy our meals. It's value for money. Great menu catering for all. Always?a friendly atmosphere from all staff. What more could you want. The surroundings and gardens are beautiful in the Essex countryside. Well worth a visit!

Excellent service either a smile all very polite and wait times were perfect as was the food, already looking forward to going back, and you have to have the ginger and lemon dessert..perfect.

Food was wonderful, attentive waitresses , service quick and meals well cooked . Eton mess was too tidy but delicious (!) . Ale well kept . Thank you
