Welcome to The Red Lion Chobham. an independent restaurant, bar and garden. It’s our desire to source and cook great ingredients, forever changing with trends and development in our kitchen including meat aging, curing and smoking in our own butchery, pickling, preserving and baking, we are sure you will notice the difference and love in our food! To stand out from the crowd is our vision, by creating a genuine and warm place with real ales, varied world sourced wines, fabulous creative cocktails and a wonderful wide selection of gins as well as other premium spirits and mixers combined. We are totally dedicated to sourcing the best quality produce and bringing together a team of equally passionate individuals who are dedicated to deliver one of the best places to dine and drink in the village and surrounding neighbourhood. This venue is a delight. Excellent food, very friendly service, good wines and lots of choice. We sat in the conservatory section and it was a little noisier than indoors, not a problem! We had a great evening and they asked if it was a celebration, we admitted it was and got some extra chocolates at the end of the meal.

Sunday roast yesterday was delicious and the staff are all so lovely! Really top quality food. Have recently been trying their monthly taster menu with accompanying drinks flights from specific vineyards etc (went to Bluebell vineyard night, Silent Pool, BBQ taster and Whispering Angel taster menu/wine flight night). All such good nights - really interesting insights from the guest speakers and accompanying food is always wonderful.

We were afforded a very warm welcome, had a wonderful table in the main restaurant, with plenty of room. It was great to see Sandy, Jamie and Vicky again, who looked after us throughout our time there. The menu choices were excellent, my partner is no butter, no cream and the kitchen was able to meet her needs, slightly modifying the menu ingredients. We chose from both the Chef Specials menu and the Main menu, it was good to be able to choose. We had soft shell crab, smoked salmon with mackerel paté, followed by duck breast and half a Lobster. Everything was cooked to perfection and elegantly presented. We accompanied this with a nice bottle of Cotès De Rhone. I chose the Summer Peach Melba Pudding, absolutely delicious. As a digestif we had a Vodka Martini and a Brandy Alexander, this was not on the cocktail menu, Sandy made it herself and itwas far superior to any I have had in the past. I hope it will be added to their cocktail menu! The evening was good value for money, but I live by the maxim that you only get what you pay for. And everything was superb

Always excellent cooking ,presentation, friendly service and a sense of quality. We both chose the scallops with black pudding slices on a bed of partial pea puree and partial peas for starters. Great combo snd scallops perfectly cooked. For mains we had fish. Monkfish fillet for my wife and griled sea bream with fragrant rice bol choi and a light curry sauce. Fabulous, although we both struggled to finish everything as healthy portions. Wine, chef baked breads and butters, canopys and after dinner homemade treats with our coffee made s lovely touch to finish. Delicious.

Truly amazing. Food is fantastic, service is perfect we all had a great evening. The garden is also stunning and worth a visit alone!
