The Red Fox is an Italian American restaurant and lounge brought to you by All Day Hospitality Group (Tony & Elaine's, Ciao Roma, Farmacia, Ward 8). The focus of the menu is on handmade pasta and a mix of throwback dishes and Italian classics, with a fantastic cocktail menu with nostalgic martinis and high quality seasonal cocktails, and an excellent wine list. Located in The North End, The Red Fox pays homage to the Italian American neighborhood and some of the great old school establishments in the city.

We had dinner for two, and while the food was good, we had issues with the service. We were seated right away but waited for about 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken. A table was seated beside us about 10 minutes after we arrived and I think this caused confusion. Throughout the evening, they were getting certain dishes ahead of us, our food was mixed up, and we both had really long waits for parts of our entrees. (The staff were very apologetic and did give us a free dessert, which was nice.) I also ordered a second cocktail that never came. It wasn't added to the bill, so no harm there, but it just added to the frustration of the night. The amount we spent didn't match the service we received.

The Red Fox was the perfect spot for date night. The dim lighting and classical music playing in the background could not set the scene for a more romantic dinner. The dirty martini is a must - they have blue cheese olives too! Don’t worry about drinking on an empty stomach because they bring out fresh focaccia! The Caesar salad was so light with the perfect amount of Parmesan cheese. My friend had the bolognese and I had the Malloreddus prepared gluten free. I must say the flavor profile was fantastic. To top it off, we shared the flourless chocolate cake with peanut butter brittle! (Also GF!!!!) Everyone we interacted with during our experience was so friendly and well informed. Can’t wait to go back!

The signature cocktails were absolutely stunning, so digestible and there’s one for every palette! The pastas and appetisers were also fantastic, and service was very attentive and personalised, I can’t recommend them enough!

Everything was 10/10!! Our server was so knowledgeable and kind, the cocktails were unique and delicious, and the food was incredible. Cannot wait to come back!!

It was a Saturday night and they were out of both dishes we ordered. Service was not great…drinks mediocre. Not worth your time unfortunately.
