   We did have a few problems with our appetizers not coming out until after our entrées came out Also our gift card for the mall apparently would not work I can’t complain the food was exceptional the manager did a great job at Service recovery offering us a couple of free credits for the kids to go play which I thought was a class act. All in all stuff happens but at the end of the day it’s how you recover. With a smile I hope this manager reads this back to her staff

   I asked that a cake, I brought in be served, which they did, but they didn’t take the lid off properly or serve the cake on a small patter. It was just brought out in the container with the lid hanging with candles. I was hoping as this was a large establishments they would know how to present a cake for a birthday, customers expect that it be served and presented in a nice manner. The food, drinks, place and our server was good, perfectly lovely experience for an 18th birthday.

   Waited 30 minutes to get serviced after being seated I had to flag down a server to serve us ! Even after this a still had to ask for service to order food !! Even had to ask for our bill No service all night Table never cleared Lots of management but no attention to detail Crazy !!!

   Downstairs bar area there was a water leak that leaked down- on to my jacket that now smells like garbage, so that wonderful! There was a security person standing not 2 feet away- didn’t notice the leak till someone slipped on it. Before that- the food was great, games were fun time. Its a good spot in Mississauga for adults and kids.

   Restaurant didn’t respect the reservation and cleared our table after 20 minutes while we playing games. So, even though they say you have the table for a certain amount of time, you have to eat and then play, and carry your things around, rather than having a table to return to.

   The hostess was attentive. The food was horrible. I ordered the fish tacos. The tacos looked great but the fish smelt raw. The children’s cheese pizza was cold and dry. and the fries were cold as well. The fish and chips batter had a sauce inside the fish that was mushy. Not sure what that was. My family and I would never return for food.

   Celebrated by son’s 10th birthday and it was a great time. Lots of gaming options and the food was delicious. Service was very prompt!

    The Rec Room is a fun place to visit with friends or family with a very energetic and fun atmosphere. The food and drinks are fairly priced for this type of establishment and it will be overly costly per person. However, this time, our experience was very frustrating as service was extremely slow while the restaurant was more or less empty. We were a group of 20 (with a reservation) and our drinks took anywhere from 15-40 mins to arrive at our table. The food did take a normal amount of time but having to wait this long for a drink is unacceptable. Based on this last experience, I will not make future reservations at this location.
