Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, The Rebel Room is a neighborhood bar and restaurant located in Downtown Pittsburgh offering guests a new take on American fare. Experience an inviting atmosphere punctuated by The Rebel Room’s eclectic design inspired by the rebels who made Pittsburgh what it is today.

We ask that you please respect our reservation size regulations. Due to the size of our dining room, we cannot always accommodate parties larger than six. Please call, if you wish to reserve a table or section for a party larger than six. Although these reservations can not be guaranteed, we will do our best to accommodate you. We look forward to seeing you!

Good drink, great spot, food was not good. Missing pieces to each entrees/sandwich. Cheese/meat board was not good.

We went on a Saturday night. The restaurant was not very crowded. The cocktails were very good. Service was fine and the food was good, although a bit overpriced for burgers and a chicken sandwich.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and was greeted by friendly staff that made you feel at home. Will definitely go to the Rebel Room the next time I am in the city.

Wonderful! Went here before the Holiday Pops show and had a phenomenal experience. We were touched that the manager appreciated the fact we dressed up in Christmas clothes. Brussel sprouts were a huge hit. Crab cakes awesome too.

We stayed at the hotel and figured eating at the restaurant would be convenient so we made a reservation for dinner. I can understand being short staffed with only 2 people to run the bar and tables, however the female server consistently waited on the same section along the windows. She should learn to rotate around the room. We had to stop her after 20 minutes and ordered a drink and as we were saying we are ready to order food she walked away mid sentence. Never came back. Had to finally stop her to get the check and she was very rude. Simply saying “we are really busy, I’m so sorry it will be a while I’ll be right back” is a 5 second way to greet customers and ensure they know they’re there. She came back and literally dropped and ran after our check. Never in my life have I just gotten up and left from a restaurant to go to another restaurant. We ended up going around the corner to a place for much better service. They should consider not filling as many tables when there’s only a staff of 2 so they can provide better service that is more manageable.

The bar was jam packed and 2 people feverishly working behind it. And it turns out those 2 people were also waiting tables. We had a reservation but there was no one to greet us and everyone working was extremely busy and avoided eye contact. They need to hire more staff especially since we were there on a night they had a show.

The food was ok. The salad I had was a lot of dressing on it. Steaks were not that good.
