This was a lovely restaurant. The service was wonderful. The food was fantastic. Everything was seasoned and paired well. The Octopus Tostaditas are a must have along with the scallops.

The food was very interesting, unique and delicious. I really like the atmosphere: both the indoor cozy areas to the three different outdoor patios. Finally, service was just right: attentive but not pushy, courses came out soon after we finished the previous, friendly and relaxed.

Celebrating a birthday at The Raymond is lovely! Sit outside in their courtyard by the fireplace, order a cocktail or wine (the bartender is a hoot!) and don’t miss the sea bass.

Love…love….love the details!!! We took our friend for her birthday and the menu read “Happy Birthday!” Then she got the most delicious butter cake dessert that is not on the menu, special for birthdays only. Sea Bass and Steak entrees were absolutely amazing and delish!!! Calamari, Heirloom Tomatoes, and Tater Tots were the best for starters!! Service from EVERYONE triple 5 Star!!!

The food and service were excellent. The scallops melted into my mouth. My group shared the Little Gem salad and the tomatoes, both were delicious. Alex was our server. We have had her on many occasions and as usual we were not disappointed. Coming to dinner at The Raymond is like going home for a home cooked meal surrounded by family.

This was our first time visiting the Raymond and we couldn’t be happier. Alex, our server was the best and made amazing recommendations! The food was wonderful, fresh and the character of the restaurant is consistent with the rich history of South Pasadena. We can’t wait to return.

Brunch was sooooo good. The Garden omelette, a new menu item with egg whites was great and a nice addition to the menu. Also the Apple Coffee Cake starter was beautifully done. Our server Carlos and his assistant were very attentive. We love going to The Raymond for a wonderful dining experience.

Met friends for dinner on the fireside patio. The wait staff were wonderful, made great recommendations regarding food and cocktails. The food was fabulous, as always. Three of us ordered short ribs, 1 ordered sea bass and one had scallops. Then we had the s’mores dessert. Wonderful, relaxed dinner. We will return again and again.
