Great food and service: we had just scattered my late husbands ashes and this was the perfect way to relax after such an ordeal. So pleased to see this place open again !!!!

Food took over 40 minutes to be served. Deserts 45 minutes. Dissapointed as always had a good experience there before.

Went for a Sunday roast in late July and could not fault the staff and the food, staff were attentive and helpful and served well. Food was very tasty and the portion was matching the price of £16.50. Went again with a friend after I recommend it highly, service was non existent, had to ask if we were going to be supplied with a menu, requested the Sunday lunch again which was extremely dissatisfying. One slice of Beef and minimal potatoes and veg. Friend had dried up chicken piece (we were not sure if it was breast or leg) and same poor quantity of potatoes and vegetables. Seems the Yorkshire pudding overwhelms the plate to disguise the lack of meat, veg and potatoes. Complained and told we were over served with meat on previous visit but chef decided we could have another slice of beef (in my opinion the amount we should have be served initially) Will not recommend or visit again and living locally it’s a shame plus they have another Pub serving Sunday lunches next door which will be used in the future. Such a shame they started so well when they reopened a few months ago.

Even though they experienced technical issues in the kitchen, the menu was adapted and the food was good.

Arrived 7.30pm. Order taken 7.55, food arrived 8.15. Good quality pub grub, nothing remarkable but what a wait when restaurant was less than half full

Food good but poor portion size. Lack of atmosphere. Staff had no idea what they were doing - guy help them if they were busy. Bill was incorrect and needed changing Pity as nice place

It’s good to see the Rams Head open again. Service was good, very attentive. Food was mediocre. £15 for a main of spinach leaves and a chopped up plant burger is not a ‘Asian Crispy (plant) beef salad. The quality of the food was good but portions small and presentation still needs work.

There was an hour wait for food, a number of orders were wrong (both drinks and food), there was a further hour wait for dessert and the crumble when it finally arrived was burnt. Felt so sorry for the wait staff. They tried their best. There was a silver haired gentleman who I’m assuming was the manager for the day - he had no clue about how to manage a restaurant when things go wrong. And don’t get me started on the kitchen staff. Very poor show on their behalf.
