Went on a very busy and noisy night, there was entertainment although disappointed it finished at 8.30.,food was good but had to wait an hour.

We went on Friday night when there was live music so it was a bit loud to have much conversation but the food was excellent - very tasty indeed!

It was all good until we got the bill and extra drinks had been added I really wanted to return but after no real apology I will not return

The worse food I have had. We waited an hour for our “food”. Every table around us complained about the time it took & when the food came out it was terrible. I spoke to owner/manager who was arrogant & said oh another complaint about the fish! He went on to say he’d speak with the chief & that “sometimes we get it wrong” too right as aside from the overstretched waitress, he spent as much time speaking with other disgruntled guest’s, No apology, no offer of refund. I spent £160 on what was my Mothers 85th birthday celebration. I will never eat here again & would advise others to avoid it too. Absolutely shocking.

We were disappointed with the service. We received flat Prosecco and cold fruit crumble and custard.

All the team were very friendly. We all had the lunchtime special of a meal and a drink for £10. The food was excellent, it was brought quickly and all of us were happy with the service, they even brought out water bowls for the 4 dogs that were with us. Really dog friendly pub. We will definitely be back.

Parking is great, did a local walk first. Good welcome and seated, the Tim Taylor Landlord was really nice and obviously well kept. We both ordered the Chicken Sunday lunch, very nice, good value for what they served. I really enjoyed the pigs in blankets and the Yorkshire was spot on. The only downside was the noise, we were sat near a family with young children, and obviously as the noise level rises so do the voices in the whole pub.

Simply. The. Best. A Grappenhall favourite now back in full swing. We had a fabulous Sunday service from Jason, Jev and all the cool crew. Sunday roasts and hot puddings with a cheese board all round. Fabulous drinks and hot coffees to finish. Looking forward to making my way through the menu and their upcoming live music and village events. 5⭐️ Aimee looked after us as usual, see you soon 😎

We were a table of 5 and all really enjoyed our meal. The pies were just beautiful served with a lovely large array of vegetables. Hubby had the Burger and loved it. We all said we will definitely be back very soon. The Staff were very attentive and friendly. Everything was just perfect. Looking forward to our next visit.
