    A great night with family and friends. Service was good, but a little chaotic at times, with some orders forgotten about. Food was on point, albeit a little expensive to what it should be. Some drinks sold out, so a little disappointed.

    The staff vere very polite and friendly. They stayed over an hour of their closing time on Sunday as we came late. And it was my husband’s birthday. The staff sang happy birthday and brought the matcha and pandan cheese cake with the lighted candle for free. He was hesitant to eat pudding but I persuaded him to try and oh boy! He ate it with gusto and I only had a little of it.

    We requested to sit in the back garden which was lovely given the weather. Starters were delicious, though the sea bream was a tad shy of Sea bream!! I ordered the pork main as on another occasion the cracking was amazing. Sadly not this time as it was chewy with lots of fat. A shame. The service was great to start but as the evening went on, it seriously declined. The table wasn’t cleared for ages and despite waiting ages to order desserts, they didn’t arrive.

    It was very quiet at lunchtime but we were treated very well. Lovely waitress who couldn’t do enough for us. Food was superb, sharing plates, all very tasty. It was a friends birthday & they treated us to free glasses of Prosecco. I’ve been several times, much busier in the evenings but I return because the food is so good. Highly recommend!

    1st time eating Filipino food and we loved it. The fresh and slightly spicy flavours were so different. The Rambling Pig is an unexpected gem in a slightly random location. For me the only thing that lets it down is the total price. Average wine bottle was £35-40. Food is tapas-style sharing with 2-3 per person recommended at £12-£18. So you see how it’s really easy to rack up a massive bill.

    We had a fantastic evening overall. Shared 9 dishes between 4 of us, which was plenty. Delicious crispy chicken dish and the fish dumplings were amazing. The drinks were slow to arrive and there was a group of very loud customers, which made it quite hard to chat. However overall we had a fantastic evening.

    Lovely food, inusual menu, good service. Very noisy restaurant as it was packed and wooden floors meant the noise was not absorbed. Overall we really enjoyed it though despite the noise.
