The Rail Trail Flatbread Co., celebrated its grand opening on 12/12/23, marking not only a milestone in Milford's downtown revitalization but also a nod to the original Hudson location's success. Built in a meticulously renovated former bank that features a spacious restaurant and bar, outdoor patio, and upstairs events space, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The Milford location reflects a two-and-a-half-year renovation effort, preserving historical elements like the century-old clock, vault door, and exposed brick walls. The open dining layout encourages interaction, adorned with family photos for a homey feel.

Though famous for flatbreads, Rail Trail boasts diverse offerings, each component is made in-house. Notable flatbreads include "Fig & Walnut" and "Mexican Street Corn," alongside the popular "Primo Pepperoni." Appetizers like "Hot Tots" and "Sesame Cauliflower" showcase Rail Trail's culinary creativity.

Our party of 14 had a wide variety of ages, from age 1 to 76. Our server, Jess, was very accommodating to everyone’s needs. We had a great time and the food was delicious.

Loved the ambiance - cool open kitchen area with the beautiful pizza oven. Server was great and savvy to allowing my party to take our time and have good conversation Actually was a little disappointed with the salad with salmon... OK but nothing to rave about. Would definitely go back.. thx

I was disappointed that the dinner menu was not available. Maybe it's something that I missed when I made my reservation. My adult sons had the pizza and they both enjoyed it. I was able to order my meal (thai chicken dish) that was only on the dinner menu-but it was cool, not hot, which is very important to me. When I the waiter asked how things were I did mention it and he didn't offer to reheat it, but that "I could heat in the the microwave at home." I also had to ask for water as it wasn't offered when we looked at the menu.

Bourbon wkend was our first time at Rail Trail. We were very impressed. The food was delicious with some very different dishes. We will def be returning. Part of our party is from Providence & they mentioned that a Rail Trail in Providence would be a big hit! Something to think about when you next expand?!

Thank you for another great dining experience! I appreciate the efforts to accommodate us with a specific seating need. Food was delicious and I'm excited to try the new desserts sometime in the near future! I also enjoyed the "fire " on the wall mounted tv. The closest I could get to a real fire on a raw evening. Noise level was not as bad as it usually is when we go, but it was not a full house on this rainy Sunday night. Thank you!

We love it here whether it’s with family or friends always a good meal. Love that you can have one pizza and split into two kinds. No one is disappointed and an opportunity to try something else too.

Food was excellent. Chefs were very willing to accommodate the needs of one of our guests due to food allergy. Service was disappointing. Waitress brought over the beer for guests but never brought the wine. She stopped at the table and realized she forgot. Was told, "be right back." Never came back. Another waiter stopped by and said he'll find out what is going on. He never returned. 1-hour later; the waitress brought over the wine. Same with water refills. I would recommend you try the Rail Trail Flatbread Co. in Milford if you have plenty of time and patience. You may want to BYOB.
