Lovely servers, food and ambience. It was our first time going there, but it definitely won’t be the last!

Would not return - slow service over lunch hour (over 1 hour for lunch to arrive at the table).

The service was friendly but slow and somewhat confused. They kept giving the wrong dishes to the wrong people. The food was very disappointing given the positive reviews they get. We ordered the steak a mushroom pie which was filled with mostly peas and what I presumed to be mashed beef? Flavour was underwhelming. Fish and chips were ok but would have been expensive at the menu price of $29. We paid $32 for the 2-course quick fixe and still felt some remorse for having dined here.

Really nice place. The salmon tartare was watery, and that is my only gripe with this place. Otherwise it was a very nice experience.

Amazing experience inside! We were originally sat outside which was quite loud, but after moving inside it was great. The service was very nice, the food was really good and the atmosphere was very cozy.

Very much a British-themed pub. Hagas, Scotch-egg, Sausage roles. I found the menu a little limited. We indulted in the Sausage Roles (came as a 3). We also indulged in the warm olives, sliders, calamari. The sliders were AWESOME. The warm olives were very good. Still, it is a 40 King/Adelaide - so, the location is GREAT. They have an amazing patio, and a fine selection of cocktails, wines, and beers. the noise on the patio was a little too loud for my liking. A party was booked on the upper patio - which may have been the reason. The server kept apologizing for not being as attentive as she felt she should be - and, explained how crowded it was. I felt she was GREAT. We waited a tiny bit for things - but, her concern for our service was noted and she knew and apologized every time there was even a short wait.
