Welcome to The Queens Inn.
A stylish pub, restaurant and hotel with a wood-burning fireplace, as well as a beer garden, a deep history of smugglers and a Georgian ballroom.
Fresh, locally sourced ingredients are combined, expertly cooked and served in our stylish, yet welcoming surroundings. Our meals are our pride and joy. We have a passion for creating a complete dining experience. This was the fourth time having dinner at Queen’s Inn and wasn’t disappointed .Staff are very friendly food freshly cooked.

The food was expensive for what you get. I ordered Tiger prawns as a starter and got 4 small (definitely not tiger) prawns with a few blobs of sauce for £11. My wife and I both ordered the pork ribs for the main…no bones in the meat at all and it was very fatty, so I assume it was just pork belly in an average bbq sauce for £23 each. I’ve had better ribs at a chain restaurant for a lot less money. The staff were nice and the atmosphere was pleasant but I wouldn’t recommend the food.

Very nice meal with my husband and two young children. Great beef roast and the children's food is really good quality (like small adults, not cheap and cheerful). Great atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!

Haven’t been here for a few years. The place was busy and the staff were friendly and efficient My steak was delicious! Would definitely use more often.

We took our Mum, for her 90th birthday lunch, to The Queen’s Inn today. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were warm, friendly and professional, and they surreptitiously gave Mum a beautifully designed chocolate birthday plate with yummy goodies and champagne. Absolutely delightful and we all loved everything about our lunch experience . Will definitely be back soon. Thank you to all the staff xx

Very good service and helpful staff. We decided to eat light and go for a starter and chose the tiger prawns and focaccia. The tiger prawns bore no resemblance to any tiger prawns either of us had ever encountered and therefore left us disappointed. If you want more than a few king prawns arranged in a row on a bit of puréed courgette then this dish is best avoided. The food others around us were eating looked better though. We probably made a poor choice but that doesn’t excuse the chef………

We went there for lunch on Sunday lunch and came away disappointed. The front of house were very young and came across nervous when serving us with no communication with us , this may bd to do with lack of training. ! The food was ok but poor , the veg wellington was more like a pasty and a soggy bottom !! The roast lunches lacked wow factor eg could actually cut the roast potatoes up . The only good gesture was a happy birthday greeting which ended the meal on a good kitten’s. Lessons to be learnt I think
