Excellent roast chicken and roast beef lunches for my husband and I. Plus wonderful chocolate brownies for dessert…perfect! Plus an extra 10% off deal for this particular weekend. Thoroughly recommended

The food was lovely. The service was great. The meal was value for money. The beer was good as my husband had 3 although a bit pricey. We will be back again soon.

Staff are excellent - we felt very welcome. The food was delicious. The band performing during the evening were great.

Over an hour and 15mins for our food to arrive, had to wait 10mins for knifes and forks to be brought to the table. Then over another hour for our desserts order to be taken. Poor menu selection ran out of most things before 7pm

New special menus on different nights. Had 2 course meal. Pork belly & blackberry & apple comfit. Lovely. Good service, left tip. We live in same village.

Food is very good and everything seems freshly prepared. A little time waiting but wasn't a problem as we were not in a hurry. The food was exceptionally good and beautifully presented. The only reason for not giving top marks was that I expected a rack of lamb to be more than 3 short ribs which were very tasty but quite fatty. Maybe that's a usual serving of ribs? Overall we were very happy with the delicious meals.

It’s a pub that’s trying to be posh but it’s not working We did not like the look of any starters so we have hummus which was ok but needed a little more bread No wine list so we ordered a bottle of wine not knowing how much it would cost. One of us ordered the steak it was ok but only half of it had been sliced that was strange it was ok but worth £29 unsure the other ordered lamb and this was not worth £29 mainly fat max 3 cutlets very disappointing Pudding the only thing we were tempted with was the chocolate brownie which was delicious .. strawberry and basil cheesecake??? Maybe rethink the menu the item most ordered fish and chips…. Plainer choice for the more simple pallet Staff were lovely and we were disappointed not to be able to add a tip for them onto the bill

We had a lovely meal, full of flavour and were served promptly. Good Sunday choices. The drinks were nice and cool. Highly recommend.
