Of course the view was beautiful we went there for the breakfast buffet… First of all the cost of it for what you got was crazy… Cold scrambled eggs… Very greasy and some of it hard overcooked bacon …..Dried out overcooked and flavorless breakfast potatoes…. They said there was an omelette bar but there was NOT…. One choice for toast white bread With a toaster oven to make it yourself….. The fruit I didn’t try there was a nice variety of that though…. But I had had a lot of fruit the day before and was more interested in a hard breakfast for the day. Coffee was decent nothing to brag about but not awful either and Hot…. Our server of course was very kind as most of the staff is on board the Queen Mary…. We did tip him even though all he did was pour our coffee and bring us orange juice.

There was a bug in the salad. Dish was replaced, but we were charged a full meal. The least would have been to comp the dish.

Don't listen to any of the bad reviews. This is a wonderful place. The food was amazing, we had the club sandwich and salad. If you like blue cheese, be sure to ask for the blue cheese dressing. They put chunks of blue cheese on the salad. Never had that before.

It's really cool to eat lunch on the Queen Mary! It's great ambience and the food was better than expected. Would definitely recommend going!

I have said before that the fish and chips could be made a feature here. A British dish on a British ship. However, I ordered it yesterday and it is still not great. Exceptional service, however.

I'm not aware of many choices for food near the Queen Mary so you have to eat onboard. It's a moderate cafe, quiet, clean, middle of the road but about the best they have to offer. Based on what I read before we left we made all reservations before arriving however we never ran into any wait time but this was the middle of the week for a couple of days all three meals June. Servings were HUGE and I could not finish some of them because I had ordered assuming they were normal portions so I had too much food to eat. Quality varied for the same item, i.e. one night the clam chowder was incredible, the next night it had more filler potatoes and was almost watery. It is expensive but you are also a captive audience if you're staying onboard. Luke, our waiter was amazing and attentive. The second night the kitchen was running quite late so I can't comment on service fairly.
