We have seating availability from 12-7 pm inside our dining rooms or outside on our heated garden terrace. All reservations are not table specific and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. Outdoor reservations have no weather back up. Standard seating is inside our dining room. *All reservations have a 2 hour time limit. We kindly ask that your experience does not exceed this time in order to seat other reservations on time.

We had a 7:30 pm reservation on Sunday night, so it wasn't very busy, which was nice for us! We had a party of eight, and Scott was our server. He made the evening so enjoyable! His wit, sense of humor, and positive energy made the evening very special. Thank you for a great evening!

I have loved this lovely restaurant for years. Had not been back for several months. The food seemed not as great as before. The Cobb salad was a 6/10. Was in the past my favorite. The chicken I recalled was sliced. This was little chunks. Not sure if it was the change or the overall taste but disappointed. The burger was dry. Just not as good as before.

Had a wonderful lunch on the patio with friends visiting out of town, after the first 20 minutes. But when we arrived for our reservations, we were taken to a table that had virtually no shade. There were several open tables on the patio so we asked to be seated at a nearby table with shade and a much cooler sitting area. The hostess dismissively told us no because we had to specifically reserve a “ shaded table” . Preposterous! I hope Mary Cohen reads this review and straightens out the dismissive hostess with no sense of hospitality.

The Prado is an amazing restaurant. Great food. Great decor. Great service. Parking is obviously an issue but, other than that, definitely a must visit. I recommend the Blood Orange Margarita!

A beautiful restaurant. We ate outside and it was lovely. Food was good. One of our favorite restaurants in SD. And afterward we crossed the street to visit one of our wonderful art museums, the Mengai.

Onion soup was superb. Short ribs and pork prime rib were a hit. Great atmosphere. Our waiter Ian was attentive and offered great suggestions. Love this restaurant.

The ambience and the service are wonderful. It's such a cute place to grab lunch in the middle of Balboa Park. The server was super patient and helpful! The only reason I lowered my rating is because the food itself was not worth the cost. The concepts were good but the quality was surprisingly disappointing. The birria was the texture and flavor of mushed canned meat, I was expecting actual shredded beef. The chicken adobo tasted like canned chili and I couldnt find the chicken, it was primarily beans. If you're willing to pay for the ambiance then it's great, but don't expect much of the food.

We love to eat at The Prado each year when we visit. Scott & Lisa are a big part of our over all experience! They are the best servers we have ever had anywhere! And the Fish Tacos are the most delicious item on the menu! We look forward to our visit next November!
