The Pour House is a tapas and cocktail bar with a relaxed atmosphere and chill music. Established by Luke and Robert in 2023, we are a relatively new experience within the town of Whitehaven, offering cool and fresh ideas to the cocktail and tapas industry.

We offer a range of traditional Spanish and English tapas dishes from Thursday to Saturday and Sunday lunches on Sundays. We have a range of approximately 40 cocktails, including call cocktails you may desire, in addition to an extensive range of mocktails.

We have a chilled atmosphere, so we're perfect for lunch, a quick bite to eat or a longer stay with a few drinks.

Available for booking between 12 pm and 3 pm on Saturdays, you can select 2 food items and unlimited drinks from our Bottomless Brunch menu. Your session will run for 1 hour 30 minutes but your table will be booked for 1 hour 45 minutes. This allows time for you to finish your last drinks. Drinks include: - Cocktails - Spirits and Mixers - Cider - Beer - Non-alcoholic options. The price is £25 for non-alcoholic and £35 for our alcoholic option.

We went for Sunday Dinner today as a family. They had Sunday roast but I had the tapas starters. They said that it was lovely, potatoes were crisp but soft centred and the meat was cooked well. I really liked the garlic prawns and the Scotch egg.

The food was really nice, especially the chilli beef. Chips were a little underdone and the chicken was a bit dry. Overall the food was tasty and we will return to try other things on the menu. Cocktails were nice but a bit overpriced in my opinion.

Went for Fish & Chips. Was beautiful. Probably best spot for fish and chips on Friday lunch.

Was very nice. Will return. A really good place especially if your chill and will enjoy a relaxed vibe.

Went here on Thursday for a meal. The place was quiet, but I didn't mind it as it felt quite relaxed and had a cozy atmosphere. The cocktails must be the best cocktails in whitehaven, there is no other bar with the level of creativity that this place has. Everything, from wow cocktails to brandy and whiskey ones too. All your classics aswell as the favourites. I am not joking when I say this place outshines most city bars in terms of their drinks and the selection of cocktails! We also had food, which was nice too. The pork belly bites were cooked to perfection and the fries were also good. My party members had the prawns, halloumi fries and fajita beef. The lamb kofta was also nice apparently. Really great place to grab a bite to eat and a drink. Will return

Absolutely loved The Pour House. Got the Salt & Pepper chicken which has to be the nicest i have ever had. The rum & pineapple chicken was also delicious. Ambience was nice. It's such a nice place inside with a warm interior and neon lighting accents. Feels very cosy. Best for starting the night, although I would also go there just for food.

Loved our visit here. The food is actually really really nice, I got the Salt & Pepper chicken with Fries & Pork Belly bites. The salt & pepper chicken is amazing, the nicest I've tasted by far. The pork belly bites were also really good, they were crispy but soft at the same time. Good. Will be back 100%
