Had a pleasant evening with my family to celebrate my Birthday, four generations! Very pleasant staff and everyone enjoyed their food.

Food was great and the staff were helpful when you caught their attention but there wasn't much contact. Personally the place is so busy there wasn't enough bar/waiting staff for the volume of people. Were given no cutlery till we asked after our meal was brought. Gin is a huge trend right now and was served not in a nice way and no great selection of tonics considering it was a cocktail bar!

A 'young' pub in that its recently been developed and with a new management and staff, but we were delighted by the service we got from the moment we arrived and were warmly greeted by the waitress Natalie who showed us to our seats (but allowing us options.) There was plenty of seating options with a good assortment of different type of ambience rooms inside, plus a lot of seating outside- a lot sheltered too. There was a good selection of beers, including local craft beers; a large selection of wines and cocktails; and an extensive menu. All at very reasonable prices. The food we ordered arrived within ten minutes of ordering and was well cooked, hot and very tasty. The meals were of generous proportions too. There are screens showing sports channels around some of the pub, including a huge screen for those outside, but not in all rooms for those not wanting that type of entertainment.

We booked a table for 8 and was put on one which was only suitable for 6. Tight squeeze cosy dining😟 The food was ok but the rump steak in Yorkshire pudding wraps where inedible. We say this and got 1 knocked off the bill. It was extremely busy whether that had anything to do with it. It's been better in the week when quieter. You

2nd time eating here. Food ok, reasonable price. Accommodated one of us in a wheelchair. Main criticism, very noisy.

We had a one night stay at the Premier Inn across the road to the Potting Shed, so it was very convenient to eat there. We were a party of 5 and 2 people were vegetarians, who were well catered for. The draft ales were good. Only downside was that it was a little chilly in the room we were in.

This was our first visit to the Potting Shed and the food was excellent, the ambience was good and the staff were attentive. We will certainly be returning to savour more of the menu. I have recommended the Potting Shed to my friends and family.

Disgusted with service at the potting shed. Firstly it took about ten minutes for three drinks to be served after the order was taken then we went to a table booked previously was advised to call the lady over when we were ready to order as it would be quicker than ordering at the bar. We waited ages before we spotted her and was then told it was a waiting time of about one and a half hours so we left and found somewhere else to eat. Surely we should have been told about the wait when being shown to the table. Will not be returning there.
