    Join us at the Potted Lobster for our Game Tasting Evening. The 6 course tasting menu will be focusing on seasonal game, sourced from neighbouring estates and farms, using traditional and modern cooking techniques to give you a delicious dining experience. For further indulgence why not upgrade to our wine pairing package and enjoy perfectly paired wine with decadent smells, tastes, and flavours to match to each course. Our Game tasting evening is running on Thursday 21st November 7pm onwards, and on Thursday 6th February.

    Service was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. We had oysters and crab cakes for starters. And lobster and fish & chips as a main. Everything was absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Would highly recommend

    We had the sharing seafood platter. Absolutely amazing food and a big thanks to our waitress Amy who was so helpful.

    Would highly recommend The potted lobster for anyone wanting delicious fresh food with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Staff here are very accommodating and the seafood is outstanding. Definitely lived up to our expectations! My family really enjoyed their visit here. Would definitely come back in future. Thank you!

    An absolutely outstanding meal at The Potted Lobster. We have been visiting for about 8 years, if we are staying locally. Once our accommodation was booked, securing a table here, was the first thing I did. (Managed to get a table 8 days in advance, for a Monday evening. Best to book as early as you can though!) Friendly, unintrusive service. Food was absolutely excellent quality, and plenty of choice available. Starter of scallops and boudin noir and the potted lobster special. Mains of hake and halibut. Superb quality produce and cooking. (All specials apart from the potted lobster.) Dining area was a little loud due to a party of 12, but it didn’t affect our experience. You will not be disappointed if you dine here!
