Join us at the Potted Lobster for our Game Tasting Evening. The 6 course tasting menu will be focusing on seasonal game, sourced from neighbouring estates and farms, using traditional and modern cooking techniques to give you a delicious dining experience. For further indulgence why not upgrade to our wine pairing package and enjoy perfectly paired wine with decadent smells, tastes, and flavours to match to each course. Our Game tasting evening is running on Thursday 21st November 7pm onwards, and on Thursday 6th February.

Have eaten here twice in one week and both times the food has been excellent. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely meal. Excellent lobster, crab, and lamb, and best ever sticky toffee pudding ever. Welcoming and pleasant staff. Good service

Visited for my husband’s birthday. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, just great service, even our dog was made welcome! The food was absolutely lovely! Comfortable surroundings, and all round highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back.

We have eaten in The Potted Lobster for the first time . The food , serving staff were excellent . We had our dog ,there is an area set a side for diners with furry friends . We will be back

Staff were great right from entering the premises. Service was at a steady pace and the food and drink was excellent. I have heard such positive things about the Potted Lobster and wasn't disappointed.

A lovely evening meal off the specials board. The restaurant setting and ambiance was great and they were dog friendly too. Highly recommended.

A superb restaurant, every bit as good as you would hope for on the Northumberland coast. Excellent quality and delightful, friendly, knowledgeable staff.
