Really friendly staff and delicious menu. Nice area in bar to sit with dog. Will definitely go again!

What a wonderful discovery in Bamburgh! We booked on a whim, knowing we were going to visit the castle and wanted somewhere dog-friendly for lunch. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and overall it was a perfect meal. It's definitely special occasion food, but in a casual atmosphere. Thank you for our wonderful meal!

We love this venue and have always had a good meal. The dog friendly area has a lowish ceiling and my husband has difficulty hearing me across the table when the room is full and lots of people talking but that is z very personal problem. We think the dog welcome approach is great.

Fantastic lunch at the Potted lobster. Food, drinks and service were all excellent. Unsurprisingly, the seafood was fantastic - crab, squid, cod and halibut were all superb.

Friendly welcome. great choice of seafood and no seafood. Very good advice on only having the seafood platter and not a starter as well. Generous portions on the platter. Delicious and highly recommend. Many people hadn’t booked and there was no availability.
