    To start with the positive feedback, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We took the see food platter for 2 with an extra 1/2 lobster. Luckily , otherwise it was enough for 1 person. The taste was pretty good, although the lobster wasn’t that fresh. The worst came at the end, the coffee (an American black) wasn’t drinkable. The noise doesn’t belong in a place like this. Really terrible. We know out of experience that people of the UK can be noisy, but in a restaurant????

    Fabulous food and great service. Can’t wait to return. The only niggle was the background music which was difficult for my husband and his new haring aid.

    Took friends for their first visit. They loved it as much as we do. Lobster was delicious. Perfect table in the corner. No annoying music and dogs were in a different area. Superb.

    This was a return visit so expectations were set. The Potted Lobster starter has been altered to previous and was not served with the solidified butter topping. This did detract from the flavour. Both of the mussels dishes ( both types off the menu) were very gritty , more than ever previously experienced in a wide range of restaurants. Staff service was excellent and it’s a great vibe. Last night was very noisy due to an upset infant however it is a family restaurant and as we all know children can be unpredictable .

    First time visit to The Potted Lobster and wow! The food was exceptionally fresh. We shared a platter for two which was great value for money. The staff made us aware of the menus/food availability on arrival and made us feel very welcome. We’ll be back for sure!

    We had a booking for 7 of us... service was great couldn't fault it. Ordered, Starters and mains of which all arrived together and hot. Drinks were good, price not bad as ordered a few Cocktails. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you 😊

    Lovely setting, we sat inside where they welcomed our 3 dogs. The food was delicious, especially the seafood platter, staff were very attentive and the cocktail menu was fabulous! Would definitely book again.
