Ordered chicken, lovely dish… but no vegetable which forces you to order a pricey ‘side’. Cocktails were watery & lacking overall and when the cocktails were brought to the table before ordering, the wine glasses were removed and never asked if we were ordering wine with dinner. Took forever to get the bill. Lovely space, beautifully decorated.

We had a fabulous meal at The Port - burgers were delicious, drinks spot-on, and our bartender, Jack, was funny and professional!

Lovely dinner for 4. Entrees included steak and salad, grilled salmon, roast chicken, and pickerel. Wine and coffee. Everything delicious.

I had high expectations for this restaurant but was disappointed by the experience. Might have been an off night but service was slow , it was almost an hour for appetizers than another hour for mains to arrive and we ordered everything within 10 minutes of sitting down . Food was fine but for the cost I expected better. The space was not pleasant, we were in the “private dining room “ which seemed to be to manage overflow and it felt like it . The room is cold , some tables had coats on , and every so often we’d be blinded by headlights through the window from the parking lot . It was too bad because I’ve been to McEwen’s other restaurants and was looking forward to the meal .

We love the ambience here, both indoors and out. The food is consistently great and staff are friendly and courteous. We have been 4 times and it is our fave place to have a special night out or a drink on the patio. Will be returning often.

Service by Selwyn was superb, personable but never intrusive. Shrimp in the cocktail were huge and delicious. Sauce was a little heavy on the horseradish but delicious. Pickerel was delightfully seasoned as was the salmon. Stick toffee pudding to finish off the meal was scrumptious.

We had made a reservation for 7:30 for 2 people at least 10 days prior. When we arrived, they seated us at a makeshift table near the bar area even though there were empty tables in the dining room area. We requested that we be moved, which they quickly accommodated. Other than that, the food was outstanding and the service was equally good. It's my first time at this restaurant but we will certainly be going back.
