    Good is better with new chef, needs more spice. Also more side options like mashed potatoes or asparagus would be good.

    The Porch Pour is delightful. Housed in a renovated Victorian style home on Founder's Row in Midlothian, it is a great setting with an interesting menu. The service was superior and the food excellent. We went early in the evening (@5PM) and the noise level was very quiet. Predictably, it was increasing as the room filled closer to 6PM but never got obnoxious. It was our first time there and we were pleasantly surprised - will definitely go back!

    Staff was polite, service was good. Food was mediocre at best. Water had an odd taste. The ham on the eggs Benedict was mostly fat and hard, also didn’t taste very good. The peaches on the dish were very hard, nowhere close to any stage of ripe. Ended up not eating them. The eggs were cooked nicely. The potatoes were also good. The ham on one of the sandwiches was also not very good. In fact we removed it altogether and had to order a side of bacon to make up for it as it was then lacking any real substance. Steak Benedict was pretty good and chicken and waffles pretty good although it said it came with jalapeño honey. It had syrup and a slice of jalapeño on the plate. Confused… The overall setting was fairly nice, a little warm upstairs and something on the windows would be nice to block out so much light. If you face the window you can’t see the person across from you to converse with. Too bright. Overall a disappointing experience for $132 brunch for 4 with no specialty drinks to drive up price.

    Food wasn’t cooked to the quality of the cost. NY Strip was requested medium but was delivered well done. They tried again and it was delivered medium well. Salmon with risotto was a little bland. Service was good. Overall, way too expensive for the experience received.

    We had our first visit here tonight after being recommended by multiple friends. It did NOT disappoint! Great date spot, fantastic food and atmosphere, the drink specials were good too. Tina (our server) took great care of us and made some wonderful recommendations. We will absolutely be back soon!!

    This place was a complete joy to experience . The host staff water guy our waitress Tina was super awesome and even the owner greeted and talked with us. Going back food service and staff OUTSTANDING!! Going back of course!! This place is a model of service and great food!

    Always have a good time at Pourch Pour. It’s a bit pricey but I want to see them make it.
