The entree pork belly was expensive for the portion. And the crackling wasn't proper crackling. It tasted like cardboard. The grim Cape sirloin was chewy and fatty, again expensive for the portion. The fish wasn't much better.. very flavourless. Didn't bother with dessert, went to mc donalds straight after.

We had a fabulous night. The staff accommodated all our food allergies. It was my daughter’s 21st birthday and they made her feel special. Food was excellent, service impeccable. Such a memorable night. Thank you.

Totally enjoyed my dinning experience. Loved all my dishes ordered. The duck was cook bang on paired with its vegetables. I went with the chef on how to cook. Came out perfect. My dessert was delicious spicy crème brûlée. Cocktails absolutely kicked in. Was giggling . All while spinning. Staff were happy, helpful and polite. All a credit.

Pork Belly for entree, a little dry. No crisp on the pork cracker on top. Was chewy rather than crunchy. Prawn flambe for main. Nice presentation but curry was a little watery. Taste was good but definitely not as good as the last time I had it a few years ago. Service was friendly and looked after us, although we did wait our entire main meal for wine to arrive despite asking several times.

As an overall experience, it was worth it. And if that's all you need to read, then that's enough. The service staff were the best I have come across. The location was fantastic. The food looked interesting and tasted well enough. The servings were small and costly. Not a place one goes to to be fed ironically as it's a restaurant, after all. But as an experience it was very nice.

The food was delicious, and the menu catered to all our needs. In every way it made it a really a special event for our Aunt’s 90th Birthday. I would like to say that by far the most overwhelming factor that contributed to the success of the evening was the amazing service of our waiter, Indi. I have travelled the world, and eaten in many fine dining restaurants, however Indi’s attentiveness to our needs and the kindness he showed us was amongst some of the best service I have ever seen. He was in tune with every need we might have, communicated with me on every need our table might have, made sure our Aunt felt really special, and treated her with humour and respect. It made it such a special night for her. He is to be highly commended. Well done Wrest Point, and well done Indi !!! Kath Hogan.
