The Point brings the thrill and robust flavors of open flame cooking with the freshest seafood in the city. Perfectly situated at the confluence of the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers, our contemporary design, tranquil open-air patio and premium fire pits, compliment the picturesque and panoramic views. Although we cannot guarantee outdoor patio dining for all of our guests. We will try to accommodate as many requests as we can on a first come first serve basis.

Door was great and ambience was nice. Not too noisy when we were there (restaurant was about half full on a Sat night at 6 pm). Convenient location for soccer game nearby.

I would recommend The Point for EVERYONE. Especially if you’re looking for a good date night spot. The views outside overlooking the river is epic. Definitely going back real soon.

The food was delicious, especially the crab donuts and the shrimp and grits. Our servicer, Elsa, was attentive and friendly. We sat outside - the music was nice and the fans kept us cool. Overall lovely experience!

The restaurant is airy and has a good vibe. The staff is friendly, the service was good and the food is amazing!

Went for for mom birthday with my family and we had a great experience. This was our second visit here and we are never disappointed.

We have been to The Point 3 times and this is our last. Service id consistently horrible. Took our son this time to celebrate his bday & everyone was frustrated during & when we departed. I wouldn’t advise anyone to go unless they are ok with the view yet awful, understaffed, poorly managed experience. . .

The restaurant location and ambiance was BEAUTIFUL, however, the service was extremely sub par. I made a reservation a week before our arrival and noted that we were visiting for our mom's 70th birthday. The day of, I called to push our reservation back an hour, that went smoothly. When we arrived a bit before 8, the restaurant wasn't busy, so there wasn't any issue being seated. During my call to delay, I asked if it could be noted that it was my mom's birthday and that we would want a dessert to celebrate, toward the end. I reminded the hostess when we arrived about the dessert and wanted cheesecake. She said she would ask as the custom is complementary apple pie and she would give me a thumbs up at the table if it was ok, otherwise, it would be Apple pie. She never returned. The food was 'meh" at best and all of our party carried leftover food out. I asked for ketchup during our dinner and my waitress placed the ketchup at the far end of the table and walked away with no acknowledgment at all. We asked for to-go boxes at least 4 times before we got them. We reminded of the birthday cake/pie at least 3 times, and once WELL after the bill was paid. The restaurant was gorgeous, but I won't return.

Excellent service even with a Huge sporting event down the street. Perfect pre-or-post game hangout for Nationals or Audi Field events. Perfect way to spend a beautiful day by the water enjoying a great meal!
