The Point brings the thrill and robust flavors of open flame cooking with the freshest seafood in the city. Perfectly situated at the confluence of the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers, our contemporary design, tranquil open-air patio and premium fire pits, compliment the picturesque and panoramic views. Although we cannot guarantee outdoor patio dining for all of our guests. We will try to accommodate as many requests as we can on a first come first serve basis.

Then step up to our Holiday Carving Station with Herb Roast Turkey - Honey Glazed Ham -Pepper Crusted Prime Rib - Agave Roasted Salmon - Cranberry Orange Sauce - Turkey Gravy - Horseradish Cream. Sides will be served family style at the table. Granny Smith Apple and Sage Stuffing - Creamy Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes - Brown Sugar Glazed Sweet Potatoes - Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Soy Glaze - Creamy Mac & Cheese. The food was good, but the service and the waterfront view are what made our night! My husband loved the oysters (4 different varieties) and we all loved the warm crab doughnuts. It was a long walk from the Metro and seemed VERY out of the way, but the owner/manager went above and beyond and had his staff take us by golf cart back to the Metro so we (2 adults and a 9-year-old) wouldn't have to walk the mile back. This is going to be a very cool area as the development keeps going!

I've missed a gem for pre or post DC United games at Audi Field. Great outdoor deck and bar area overlooking the water. I'll be back.

Today’s experience wasn’t like my last visits had been. Came with a friend and it was her first visit. She wasn’t pleased with her chicken or waffle. I ordered the crab omelette, but it was more of an asparagus omelette with some crab meat. The server was attentive as could be. Seems like the service has changed a bit. 😬

Food was average to below. My grilled branzino was good. Side of vegetables were not. Calamari was rubbery. Wings aren't seasoned. Crabcake, also had no flavor. French fries tasted like old grease. Shrimp fried rice with chix was good.

We ate outside and there were a lot of flies. Also once our entrees came our server checked in once and by the end of our meal we had to hunt her down. In the past the service and ambiance was great. Today was just an off day I hope.
